Privacy and file security policy

Excel25 Tools clearly separates processing into two modes so you always know where your file is handled.

1. Browser-side tools

• Files are read and transformed in your browser memory. No file bytes are sent to our server.
• CSV and TSV files are limited to 15 MiB.

2. Temporary container tools

• Tools such as Visual VLOOKUP and Workbook Inspector do not upload on file selection. Upload begins only after explicit confirmation.
• Processing uses a request-specific temporary directory. Request data is removed when the request ends, including validation and processing failures. No permanent workbook storage is enabled.
• XLSX, XLSB, and ODS files are limited to 10 MiB; two-file operations are limited to 10 MiB combined and 25 seconds.
• Operational logs contain bounded metadata such as trace ID, status code, and duration—not cell values, sheet names, or file contents.

3. Advertising and cookies

• excel25.com uses Google AdSense advertising to support the free service.
• Advertising and analytics code must not receive filenames, sheet names, headers, or cell data.
• You can manage personalized ads in Google My Ad Center.
